Sometimes a dash of salt is all you need to unlock alternative flavour profiles of cocoa. To us it's match made in heaven. Give it a go, whet your appetite into the realm of salt-doused chocolate.
How it's made: 1% Maldon salt is added to melanger in the final stages, letting the satiating sublety of the salt submersed throughout the bar.
Origin: L'Esterre Estate, St. Andrew, Grenada, West Indies
Ingredients: organic cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, 1% Maldon salt
Handmade: All our chocolate is hand-tempered in small batches and so some may not appear that exact "perfect" button shape like those big expensive machines are very good at. Optimum flavour and that mouthfeel melt are the most important factors in creating our buttons. We're working on the rest.
