About Chocolate 

How many ingredients does your chocolate have? 

Most of our chocolate has two ingredients; cocoa and organic cane sugar. Our 72% + Sea Salt products includes a dash of Maldon salt. 

Is your chocolate free of gluten, dairy, sesame and nuts? 

Yes, they are naturally free of gluten, diary, sesame and nuts as our factory only processes cocoa, sugar and Maldon salt. Although you may find a warning on our products that it 'may contain traces of' for each allergen as we aren't certified as free of any of these allergens. The chances of our products being contaminated with gluten, dairy, sesame and nuts are incredibly low, although we cannot guarantee this 100%.    

Are your chocolates vegetarian, vegan and alcohol-free? 

Yes, our chocolates are naturally vegetarian, vegan and alcohol-free.

Is your cocoa Dutch processed? 

None of our cocoa is Dutch processed (alkalised) at any stage of our process. 

Do you have your cocoa tested? 

Yes, for each shipment we have our cocoa nibs tested for Salmonella and Cadmium content with each shipment. Get in touch if you would like to see the lab results. 

Do you do hot chocolate flakes? 

We are planning this for 2025 so stay tuned! 

Is your cocoa organic? 

Our cocoa is certified organic by CERES, but it isn't shipped as such because it adds up to being a more expensive process with additional costs and admin that we currently don't have the time, money and energy for. You can rest assured that our practices are totally organic and that we only process organic ingredients in our chocolate making but cannot state this is the case legally without all the gnarly extra cost and paperwork. 

Can I mix and match different % chocolates for the Bundle of 5 pouches? 

At the moment this function isn't yet available for our online store. Please do get in touch directly if you would like us to do this for you. 

What are the size of your buttons?

It can vary as they are individually piped, but we try to keep it to approx 5g - 6g per button.

About Shipping & Wholesale

How much does shipping cost? 

Shipping costs £3 for all orders under £35. This limit will increase on 31 March 2025. Shipping is free (48 hr tracked) for all order above £35. Express shipping is also available for £4 (24hr tracked). We do not offer guaranteed deliveries on any given day. 

What countries do you ship to? 

Currently, we ship to the UK & USA. We are exploring options to ship to Europe in 2025, though this is proving difficult with Brexit with extra fees incurred by the customer. 

Do you sell your chocolate wholesale? 

Yes we do. Get in touch with bobbie@lesterrechocolate.com for 2025 prices. 

Who are your stockists in the UK? 

We're currently stocked at Debbie Jo in Brook Green, London and Wicked Chocolate in Oxford. 

Can I add a message to my order? 

Absolutely, you will see a little box on the check out page where you can write a personal message that will be sent out with your order. 

Where do you ship from? 

All our chocolate is shipped from Durham by Perkins 4 Solutions. 

Where do you produce the chocolate? 

All our chocolate is produced nib to button from our chocolate studio in Warwickshire.
